General Information

The Graeco-Roman Museum of Alexandria is one of the world's finest archaeological institutions, dedicated to preserving the classical heritage of Egypt. Originally opened in the late 19th century and recently completely renovated, it houses a magnificent collection of thousands of artifacts spanning from the Ptolemaic period following Alexander the Great until the end of the Roman era.
